The Copperhead Nutrimate 3 was developed to precisely place fertilizer in correct proximity to seed, reduct germination problems, and encourage rapid plant growth. It works well in all farming operations including conventional, no-till, strip-till, and minimum-till. The NutriMate 3 places fertilizer in the root zone and not the soil surface. The Nutrimate 3 features a check-valve to keep lines from draining at the end of the field, easy adjustment for both depth of fertilizer placement and distance from seed, as well as a notched disc that leads smaller diameter smooth disc to allow soil penetration even in the highest trash conditions while still forming groove for fertilizer placement. Exclusive 10º pivot allows Nutrimate 3 to flex independently of planter row unit. Its unique design allows discs to be pulled through the field which improves planter tracking, reduces bearing and disc fatigue, and eliminates stress on parallel linkage. It works well in all farming operations including no-till, strip-till, and minimum-till. Because the Nutrimate 3 is mounted to the row unit, the planter parallel links allow it to float while the unit gauge wheels provide depth control so nutrients are precisely places in relation to the seed.

The NutriMate 3 reduces input costs and subsurfaces application of dry fertilizer eliminates nitrogen loss due to volatilization. The banding of dry fertilizer use efficiency by as much as 100% depending on row spacing.
